When do you start clearing after a snowfall?
Seasonal contract customers are dispatched automatically once accumulation reaches 5 cm. We aim to have residential driveways cleared before 7 am on weekdays. Timing can vary during major storms when the entire service area needs attention.
What does the seasonal contract cover?
The seasonal contract covers unlimited visits from November through April. Every time it snows 5 cm or more, we dispatch automatically — no call required. The flat rate covers driveway plowing and walkway shovelling for the full season.
Do I need to be home for snow removal?
No — most customers are not home during service. Just make sure vehicles are moved out of the driveway before a storm if possible, and let us know about any obstacles (basketball nets, garden borders, etc.) when you sign up.
What happens if it snows more than once in a day?
Seasonal contract customers are covered for multiple events in a single day. If accumulation builds back up after we clear, we will return as needed during active storm events.
Is salting included in the seasonal contract?
Salt and sand application is available as an add-on to any plan. It is not included by default in the base seasonal rate — we will quote it separately when you request your estimate.
When should I sign up for the seasonal contract?
We recommend signing up before the end of October to guarantee your spot. Our seasonal routes fill up quickly and we cannot always accommodate new customers once the season begins. Contact us early to lock in your rate.
