Landscape Installations
Patios, sod, retaining walls, garden beds, and more — built properly from the ground up by an experienced crew that takes the prep work as seriously as the finished product.
A landscape installation is a significant investment. Whether you are adding a patio, laying fresh sod, building a retaining wall, or creating new garden beds, the quality of the work underneath determines how long it lasts and how much maintenance it requires over time.
MRPRO approaches every installation with the same discipline: proper site assessment, correct base preparation, quality materials, and clean execution. We do not rush the groundwork to save time — that is where most installations fail within a few years.
Every project starts with a free on-site consultation and a detailed written quote. We explain what we are doing and why, so you can make an informed decision. No pressure, no vague estimates, no surprises on the final invoice.

From a single garden bed to a full backyard transformation — we handle projects of all sizes.
Interlocking stone, natural flagstone, concrete pavers, and exposed aggregate — we design and install patios, walkways, and front entrances that add lasting value and curb appeal.
Fresh sod gives you an instant lawn. We prepare the soil properly — grading, topsoil, and amendments — before laying premium sod for a result that establishes quickly and lasts.
Armourstone, interlocking block, and natural stone retaining walls that hold back slopes, create usable terraced areas, and add structure to your landscape.
Large-scale planting of trees, shrubs, and ornamental specimens. We handle sourcing, delivery, proper planting depth, staking, and initial establishment care.
New garden beds built from scratch — excavation, edging, soil preparation, planting, and mulching. We design for year-round interest and low ongoing maintenance.
Uneven lawns, poor drainage, and low spots are corrected with proper grading and quality topsoil. A level, well-drained base is the foundation of a healthy lawn.
From first call to finished project — a clear, straightforward process.

Installations fail when the groundwork is rushed. We never skip base preparation, grading, or soil amendments — the steps that determine whether a project lasts 5 years or 25.
Every quote is itemized — labour, materials, equipment, and disposal. You know exactly what you are paying for before we start.
We source from trusted local suppliers. Whether it is premium sod, natural stone, or interlocking pavers, we use materials we stand behind.
We design and install with maintenance in mind. A well-planned installation is easier to care for and looks better year after year.
Everything you need to know before booking a landscape installation.
Yes, always. After the site consultation we provide a detailed written quote covering all labour, materials, and timelines. We don't start any work until you have approved the quote in writing.
It depends on the scope. A sod installation on a standard residential lot typically takes one day. A patio or retaining wall project can take two to five days depending on size and complexity. We give you a realistic timeline in the quote.
Spring and fall are ideal for most installations in the Markham area. Sod can be laid from late spring through early fall. Interlocking and retaining wall work can be done from spring through late fall as long as the ground is not frozen.
Most residential landscape installations in Markham do not require a permit, but larger retaining walls (over 60 cm) may. We will advise you during the consultation if a permit is needed and can assist with the application.
Absolutely — and it is often more cost-effective to do so. A common combination is sod installation paired with new garden beds and a walkway. We coordinate all trades and materials so the project runs smoothly from start to finish.
We serve Markham, Unionville, Stouffville, Richmond Hill, Scarborough, Pickering, Ajax, and surrounding GTA communities.
